LA Fit Expo

I ended up going to LA Fit Expo this past Saturday to support my brother's girlfriend who has been training to compete in Iron Man Naturally's bikini competition! She's been training for months with diet and exercise to shape up for this competition, AND it was her first competition and first time on stage - she ended up placing 5th!! So cool to see all her hard work come into play. It's amazing how much the competitors are able to transform their bodies while flexing to really define all that muscle. Here's a few pics of her onstage!
We got to the convention center just in time for her prejudging and then walked around to see the different booths until the finals round a few hours later. There were a lot of different competitions going around at the expo, from weight lifting to wrestling to cross fit, and really long lines for meet and greets, but I mainly stayed around the body building area where the bikini competition was.
All I gotta say is I've never seen so many fit people in one place at a time... Everywhere I turned my head I saw endless triceps biceps booty and abs. The entire experience was really new and interesting, I think I'd definitely want to get a little more fit and go next year!
